About Ojai Valley Inn
Watershed Progressive has been working with Ojai Valley Inn (OVI) to reduce their water use and utilize their property to enhance instream flows in San Antonio Creek and Ventura River. To do this, Watershed Progressive (WP) proposes three big picture strategies:
Reduce water use at OVI through conserving, detaining, and reusing water on-site.
Replace lawn with native and climate appropriate plants which use less water and create critical habitat for pollinators such endangered monarchs in partnership with Ventura Resource Conservation District and Wildlife Conservation Board.
Restoring Continuous, Healthy, Native Riparian Drainage Channels through the Ojai Valley Inn site which retain, filter, and slow water flowing to San Antonio Creek and the Groundwater Basins feeding the Ventura River.
